Mason had his 15 month checkup today...he weighs 28 lbs 5 oz (90%) and is 34.25 inches (99%)!!!! He is actually slimming down a little, probably from his increase in activity, which has made me lose a couple pounds too...hehehe!!!
Poor Mason had pink eye and another ear infection on the Friday before Christmas! He was fine within a few hours of the medicine! But on a side note, as I was walking into Kroger with him to get his prescription filled that day (which was cold and raining), a lady yells out to me, "That would be a whole lot easier if you weren't wearing heels." What????? Yes, I was wearing high-heeled boots, but why did she say that?? Maybe I appeared to be struggling as I was walking through the rain carrying a 30 lb baby, I don't know, so I guess she was trying to be funny??? I just yelled back "yeah, I know." I love to wear things that make me feel better about myself....including high heeled boots! I sure never thought it would mean a stranger criticizing me for it!!!
So back to Mason.....
He is destructive and busy all day long! But he is happy! He wears himself out and sleeps pretty well. Mya still loves to play with him and pretend to be his second Mommy! She is so proud of him and introduces him to strangers! I can't wait to see how they are when they're older!!!
Jim watched him move a stool over to his kitchen in order to climb up on it to reach the phone. He took this picture and texted it to me....I almost had a heart attack!!!!!!
