This week, Jim, Mya and I are relaxing in Virginia Beach with my parents! Click HERE to see our album of pictures so far! I have been enjoying my favorite ice cream in the world, Kohr Bros, every day (sometimes twice per day!)!

Baby Reese
By Sarah - 27 weeks
I had my third and probably final ultrasound last week. Reese was moving around like crazy and Jeremy was especially excited. I am not sure if it’s all more real now or what, but he is one proud Daddy! Carson thought it was pretty cool too. He is so lucky to experience all this stuff with us and for the most part, be old enough to understand it! We love the technician who does the ultrasounds- she is soooooo kind and sincere! She spent a lot of time with us reviewing all of Reese’s characteristics! I couldn’t be happier with all the staff at Dr. Chan’s office.
Dr. Chan said the ultrasound looked great… Reese is in the 50th percentile in weight (she weighs 2.2 lbs). In two weeks I will be doing the Glucose test. Also, I will get to meet Dr. Arbona- one of the other OB’s in the practice. Dr. Chan likes her patients to meet all the docs… there is a chance that she won’t be available on the day of delivery, so it will be nice to have met the other ones.
Entering the THIRD trimester is very exciting. I have been very blessed to be surrounded by people everyday who make me laugh, and recognize that each day is a gift. I am so excited for Reese to meet all the wonderful people that are a part of my life! …I know- sappy- but true!!!!!
Carson has been measuring the baby’s growth by hugging me from behind. His fingertips cross each other now, but I told him that in a couple weeks he won’t be able to reach his hands all the way around Reese and me! I can’t wait until the day comes when he can hold her! He is going to be such a proud big bro! I have been cherishing every minute I get to spend with him now as an “only child”. We have had such a great summer so far!!!!!!
Reese’s room:
I picked out the baby bedding and décor for Reese’s room. I LOVE the cheetah print and am anxious to see what Sue (my friend who’ll be painting) is going to come up with for the walls.
I have been researching bottles, strollers and a lot of other stuff- WOW! I have no clue where to even begin! Things have changed so much since I had Carson.
Room décor idea:
Inducing:
I talked to Dr. Chan about her thoughts on inducing. She said that at 39 weeks, if I am at least 3cm dilated, she could go ahead and induce labor. I, however, do not want to do that unless medically necessary! I have so many clients to see during my 39th week and so much to squeeze in that I am hoping not to go early. I know the chances of things going the way I want them to are SLIM… there’s nothing wrong with a little wishful thinking!!!
This week is an extra long work week for me- about 65 hours at the salon. I am only working 2 ½ days next week and am looking forward to the time off at the end of the week. We are hoping to get Reese’s room ready and do some fun things with Carson. Under 90 days to go… yay!

100 days!
By Jamie
100 days until my due date!! It seems so far away, but I know it will go fast!! Mya has been going to a Music/Arts camp at her preschool from 9:30-1:00 every day this week, and her last day is tomorrow. They are having a concert for the parents, so we can't wait to see her sing!!! I have been able to get a lot of stuff done around the house while she's been gone, including packing and getting ready for our vacation (well....I was able to get the suitcases out, so I guess I still have a ways to go!!)! We will be heading to my parents' on Saturday, then leave Sunday for the beach! I always get so stressed out before trips and vacations. No matter how much I prepare ahead of time, I'm always scrambling for something at the last minute or realizing I forgot something when we're an hour away from home. But at that point, who cares?!!!! It's time to relax and have some fun!!!

The Nursery
By Jamie - 25 weeks
I'm actually getting excited to start working on the baby's room, now that we got the rug. Jim is away golfing today and tomorrow, so I think I will go and pick out some paint. I thought it would be boring decorating a boy's room, but maybe it won't be so bad after all!!!

Now, if we can only come up with a name for this little guy so I don't have to keep calling him Jimmy Junior!! I HATE not being able to call him by name....I remember how wonderful it was finding out that Mya is a girl so we could call her by name!! Jim and I gave ourselves a deadline of 2 weeks, so we will have a decision soon!
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Update
By Jamie
I had another ultrasound today, and the placenta is still low. My OB isn't concerned yet, so I will have another ultrasound in 6 weeks to see if it has moved up. The baby is doing great, moving around and even waking me up at night!
Mya keeps talking about the "girl baby" in her belly that keeps kicking her!!! It doesn't matter to her that I have a baby boy in my belly. At my appointment today, she was loudly talking about it in the waiting room, and gave all the people in the room a good laugh!! She even told me to feel her belly! I'm just waiting for her to blame this little "baby" in her belly for something bad that she does!

4th of July Weekend
By Jamie
For my 4th of July Weekend Pics, click HERE! Tomorrow morning I'm going to have another ultrasound. I can't remember if I already posted the reason for it, but it's because my placenta was a little low a month ago when I had the last ultrasound. My doctor didn't seem concerned, as it will most likely go back up as the baby grows.
Later today, I plan on posting a hysterical picture that Sarah texted me this morning....just wait until you see it!!!!

100 days!
100 days until Sarah's due date of 10/10/10!!!!!
But it's a sad day for Sarah, Jeremy and Carson, as they had to put their 4 year-old cat Batty (Batman) to sleep today. He had a neurological infection that could not be treated. We will all miss him.
Here are some pictures from the last few years:
